After an argument with another student earlier today, I have decided to export all of the functions in my includes.php document to individual .php files. Doing this means that there are only three functions on the site. In my testing so far, the site is loading in about 1/3 the time as was yesterday. There are a few other tweaks I can make that may speed things up more. The random images function is written in JavaScript and the main header for all pages and the rotating band images on the bootlist page share the same document. Separating the two may speed up all of the paged except the bootlist page. (One that will be visited by no one I fear as, A. No one cares, and B. it isn't finished.)

As an aside, if you find anything on the site that doesn't work, please drop me an email or fill out the contact form. I am constantly making changes, many of which break the site for short periods of time. Other feedback is also welcome.
